Digital Meal Planner for Families

Digital support for families: An intuitive web application simplifies meal planning and seamlessly integrates with existing routines.

MealPlanner

Initial situation

The current situation of meal planning for families can be quite complicated. Many families rely on traditional methods, such as using a whiteboard or paper, to plan their weekly meals. Recognizing this challenge, Migros Online aims to develop a tool that simplifies meal planning for families. The focus of this tool is to help families plan their meals. The idea behind the tool is not to introduce families to new recipes or meal ideas, but to enable them to work with the recipes and meal plans they already know and use regularly. The planner will function as a modular system, designed to be as straightforward as possible. It’s about making meal planning easier, not adding the complexity of cooking new dishes that would require extra time and effort.

Project goal

Develop a digital meal planner that simplifies and streamlines meal planning for families. The tool should integrate seamlessly with existing routines, enabling families to work with the recipes and meal plans they already use. Designed to be intuitive, user-friendly, and efficient, the planner will address everyday needs, making meal planning less time-consuming and more accessible.
