This project deals with the development of a user-centred sales process and the use of targeted UI and UX elements in a web-based 3D configurator.

The goal is to develop a user-centric ordering process that efficiently and intuitively recommends and configures appropriate products for the user. To meet the requirements, a logical structure simplifying the complex product configuration is to be developed, the suitability of 3D UI elements is to be assessed and optimal user guidance is to be achieved by choosing adequate design implementations.
A new sales process aims at supporting the customer in configurating the product according to their needs by providing an web-based configurator.
UX and it's design implementations were evaluated in order to conceptualise a web-based product configurator and a prototype was implemented and tested. Further development is needed to create an optimized user experience.
