Initial Situation

The Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) faced complex challenges in managing its strategic IT landscape. Critical project data and initiatives were previously scattered across multiple tools and manually maintained Excel spreadsheets. This fragmentation created data silos, resulting in outdated metrics and inconsistencies across departments. Without a single source of truth, decision-makers lacked the transparency required for agile planning and real-time assessment of project outcomes.

Project Goal

Our objective was to engineer a centralized, flexible platform to consolidate all strategy-related information. The system was designed to support diverse data types for various initiatives, enable dynamic KPI tracking, and provide a transparent "Single Source of Truth." The goal was to empower administrators and teams with a clear overview of strategy execution, from high-level goals to specific project tasks, while ensuring the solution remained maintainable for long-term use.
