Jobfairy serves as a dedicated platform for young people, facilitating their journey in seeking part-time employment while enhancing their skill set and professional experience. It offer resources and tools for young individuals to boost their skills and create a seamless experience for seeking flexible work arrangements.
Through Jobfairy, young people can access various unique job opportunities tailored to their preferences and abilities, empowering them as they advance in their careers.
Initial Situation
In recent years, there has been significant growth in casual job hunting among young people in Switzerland. However, youth encounter difficulties when using available job-seeking platforms, primarily due to the prevalence of low-paying jobs and the time-consuming nature of these platforms for youth work agencies. The tools provided are often insufficient or lack user-friendliness. Additionally, employers are overwhelmed by the complexities of these websites, leading to their reluctance to rely on online platforms when offering part-time jobs. Overall, despite the increasing availability of part-time jobs marketed to youth, accessing these opportunities remains challenging due to the myriad issues encountered by both young job seekers and the agencies supporting them.
Project Goal
Jobfairy focuses on creating a user-friendly online platform for youth job exchanges. The primary focus is on providing an easily accessible tool for youth workers, potential employers, and youth work agencies alike. Our goal is to facilitate seamless transactions, allowing employers to effortlessly upload job opportunities while ensuring a smooth application process for young individuals. Additionally, we aim to streamline operations for youth work agencies, simplifying the management of this process.
Registration
the page where job seekers can sign up and make a Jobfairy account for searching and finding jobs.
Home Screen
preview of our home screen where job seekers will be able to apply for jobs, as well as search and filter for specific roles.
Profile Page
Each registered Job seeker will have a profile page as seen where they can input details for example an "About me" section,"Guardian contact information" and profile picture.
Jobs Page
On the jobs page job seekers can manage and search for jobs as seen each listing provides the first and last Deployment aswell as work time and hourly pay. A jug can request for a job and see current status if they got accepted or declined.
AG client Page
The client page allows JJBB and admin to manage (add, edit, delete) AG(employers) into the database. Additionally, certain attributes of AG can be configured.
Export Page
the Employers can Export Jug data directly into a job file.
