Easystep Connect is built on the foundation of Easystep. It is a web application developed for Young Professionals to get in contact with Experts and career counsellors.

Initial Situation/Problem statement

Easystep helps Young Professionals with ten steps to launch their career in design and arts. However, there is no platform for the Young Professionals to ask someone with experience how to proceed with these ten steps.
Half of all students in design and art do not have prior professional training and therefore very few «career competences» i.e. knowledge and experience with the necessary steps of getting into a profession and becoming a successful designer or artist.
That is were Easystep Connect comes in. You can send in your request and experienced designers and artists will answer it.

Project Goal

As a project team, our goal is it to develop a web application for our client that serves as a safe space for Young Professionals. It helps them connect with Experts and receive career counseling, allowing them to kick-start their careers and ask any career-related questions.

Developed Solution and its benefit

Easystep Connect is a platform for design and art graduates, where Experts will answer all the questions the graduates have about starting their career.
In order to connect Young Professionals with Experts as easy as possible, we created our application with following features:

• users get an auto-generated account after they send a request
• users can edit their accounts to show their accomplishments
• experts receive a stack of requests, where "first in, first out" logic is used
• experts across all fields work for easystep connect to ensure a competent answer to every request.
• experts can send an answer to all requests to reduce waiting time for the Young Professionals
• requests are treated securely, they will be deleted after the request has been answered.
