Studia
With the new Studia application you can learn easily, efficiently, and independently for better grades while having fun.

Key terms
About the project
Initial situation
During the lockdown period, more homeschooling was required, where students had to get used to a different learning environment. Several studies have since then shown that it is difficult for students to learn effectively and independently.
Project goal
Our goal is to develop an application that allows high school students to improve and develop their self-regulated learning skills. We aim to implement scientifically supported learning methods, provided by our client.
Benefits of Studia
The Studia application helps students to personalize and regulate their learning schedules and allows them to adopt new learning strategies. With the science-based algorithm, they can manage their studies and evaluate themselves with the help of statistics tailored specifically for each student, and much more!
The Studia application is currently available for free on the webseite studia.ch
The evolution of the Studia application
Our journey started with understanding the needs of our customer. Afterwards we followed an iterative process to define the key features and user-flow of the solution. That is when we started designing several drafts of the overall user-flow.

Afterwards multiple drafts of the design were created.

And since it was important that the user interface was appropriate for the students, several usability tests were conducted to ensure that the user experience and interface is suitable for our endusers.
That's how we ended with a dark, high-contrast design.

The Functionalities
-
The dashboard allows the student to have an excellent overview over their next learning times.

-
After an exam, the student can complete the self-assessment questions and receive feedback on it.

-
The statistics of grades and self-evaluation over a period of time are displayed in a chart so that the student can see their progress.

-
There are daily and weekly notifcations by email, so that the student is informed about his tasks and exams. This can be configured in the user settings.
