Project goal

With the help of augmented reality, the platform tries to bring historical facts and places closer to the user in an interesting way. The goal is to provide different tours all over Switzerland with a variety of themes and complexities.

Initial situation

Historical districts in Swiss cities suffer from a lack of visitors and thus interesting pieces of history are being lost.

With the help of the Sqwiss Discovery App, old towns and other historical locations are being revived with new technology that inspires others to learn more about past events and significant places.

Results

• Tours can be created and edited in the web application by an editor or an admin.
• Users can view all tours on the website and download the mobile app to start exploring the tours.
• Administrators can manage the platforms users and licence tours to them.
