The app will be able to scan the EAN code of a medication and complement the given data with additional information from the internet. The patient will be able to specify how to take the medication: two pills of medication A in the morning before eating, one pill of medication B at noon with food. Additionally, the app will prompt the patient to record how he actually took the medication. This results in a comparison: how the patient must take a medication and how he really took it. Based on this comparison, the patient can be informed on what he can improve to make himself feel better. Of course, the MedInspect app prompts the patient to take his medication as well.

With our app, we aim to improve the medication-taking behavior of chronically ill patients and thereby enhance their quality of life.
The idea for the app came from our customer, who already had a rough idea of the app's functions. Through the agile process, we were able to get closer and closer to the end result sprint by sprint.
